Holiday Destinations in Asia

From Thailand to Vietnam and many places in between, Asia has become probably the number one exotic holiday destination for back packers and those seeking exciting, adventure filled holidays.

Asia is a truly massive and daunting continent and when considering a holiday here, it's a good idea to plan ahead. From the bustling cities of China and Japan to the rural hinterlands of Cambodia and Laos, there is something here for most tastes.

Holiday Destinations in Europe

Being a resident of Europe myself, I've seen quite a bit of it. For visitors from the UK to mainland Europe, most of the top destinations are easily accessible within a matter of hours. There is so much to see and do that it would be impossible to do it justice here but a few of my personal favourite things are as follows.

• Wandering the cobbled streets of Amsterdam, taking in the sites and sounds of this crazy Dutch capital.
• My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon in Cyprus, specifically in the resort of Agia Nappa, and it will always hold special memories. The weather is fantastic, the people pleasant and life seems to go at a slower pace.
• Barcelona is a fantastic place to enjoy a sunny city break. It's a frenetic place and there's loads to see including great museums, monuments and the Nou Camp (home to FC Barcelona is not to be missed)
• If it's a beach holiday you're after, Europe has many options from the sun kissed island of Ibiza to the newly emerging destinations of Turkey and Bulgaria.

It may be on the other side of the world, but Australia is a very popular holiday destination for adventurous Brits and New Zealand is also high on the list of holiday hotspots. Filming of the movie 'The Hobbitt' has just started here recently and this very fact is sure to draw many more visitors.
